Operators/Driver FAQ’S

Lynkpay is a partner with Stripe Connect which they will set the card fee + IC rates. There will also be a gateway fee charged per payment.
Lynkpay will have a payment reference on the portal, and this will be used via the client stripe portal to raise any refund requests.
Payments might be visible as Pending on their banking app or online banking portal, this would suggest the payment is still being processed from Visa/Master card or Apple/Google.
If a driver is using the Lynkpay driver app for Qr payment, go to our resource section for full guidance. Short flow: Create a passenger meter/ journey value cost in the app section and the app will create a Qr code with then value plus Lynkpay fee. Passenger will scan this and then pay via their Visa/Master card or Apple/Google service, once completed the driver will get a push notification in the app to inform the payment is completed or failed. Do not let any passenger leave until a payment confirmation is received or this payment process is cancelled with a driver / passenger agreement for cash.
Create the Qr code in the Lynkpay driver app or the passenger can scan the sticker which a 4 digit-pin code must be passed from the driver to allow passenger payment to effetely work.

SMS Via Passenger Payment Service:

Lynkpay will automatically allow a 2nd New attempt after a failed payment. The passenger also can cancel and opt in to pay cash.

Drivers can see the latest Qr or sticker payments in the Lynkpay Driver app.

Driver can add up to 5 live accounts but not limited to add more when required.

Lynkpay Cash out tab allows drivers to request the money value capital held in the wallet to be cashed out to their allocated bank account.

Drivers can pay their taxi rent in the Lynkpay App.

 

New Driver Pay-in Feature

You can now pay into the office at any time using your Lynkpay QR App. Tap the Profile icon and you will see the Pay-In option.

The option is always based on passenger choice, if you want to use the Qr or SMS, inform the driver you have no cash and only intend to pay using these methods.

You can tip the driver if using Qr code, ask the driver the fare then add on the amount you want to tip before making a full payment.

Keep your payment record and journey details, then contact your taxi operator they will provide their own process for a refund. Requesting the driver ID or keeping the car registration will help guide the taxi operator to help speed up any credit refund if granted.
